FIRST CONSULTATION MEETING - September 1996
Prior to 1996, several Fed Fed branches had sprouted in various big cities of Cameroon. In a visionary direction, President of Fed Fed Limbe, Na Ruphina Mutia convened a consultative meeting of the existing Fed Fed branches with the objective of establishing a network of all the groups. The first consultative meeting held in September 1996 in Limbe. The major outcome of this meeting was the decision to draw up a Constitution to create a networking organisation of all the branches and any future branches and to have this adopted at a constituent meeting.

SECOND CONSULTATIVE AND PREPARATORY MEETING
The 2nd consultative and preparatory meeting was convened in October 1996 at the Mofor's Residence in Buea with the objective of discussing the draft of the Constitution: elements for which were developed.

CONSTITUTENT ASSEMBLY
The 3rd Consultation Meeting which was a constituent assembly was organized in November 1996 at Mammi Fogams Residence in Tiko. The major decisions at the constituent meeting were as follows:
  • An association dubbed Nkumu Fed Fed was created.
  • This constituted the first meeting of Nkumu Fed Fed.
  • A national anthem was adopted.
  • The pioneer members at this turning point included the following branches in order of longevity:
    - Fed Fed Fako: Created in 1982
    -Fed Fed Yaounde: Created in 19….
    - Fed Fed Douala: Created in 19…..
    - Fed Fed Bamenda: Created in 1995

The 2nd Annual General Assembly of Nkumu Fed Fed was held on the 11th of April 1997 in the British Council Bamenda. This meeting was organized to constitute the Launching of the new association, Nkumu Fed Fed.

Major Outcomes of this meeting:
  • Nkumu Fed Fed was launched on the 12th of April 1997 in Gungong.
  • The launching project in Gungong was to support to the village for the construction of a Health Centre and the support to the Wosing Village for the construction of a Health Centre.
The 3rd Annual General Assembly was an extra-ordinary meeting that held on the 26th of July 1997 at Ma Leke’s Residence in Yaounde with the objective of addressing urgent communication problems of the association.

Major Outcomes of this meeting:
  • Key strategies to strengthen National EXCO communication and communication with branches was taken.
  • Decisions were taken on the procedure for project identification.
The 4th AGM of Nkumu Fed Fed was organized in November 1997 in Yaounde at the Folabit Residence hosted by Yaounde Branch.
The major decision at this meeting was to organize annual AGMs.
The 5th AGM of Nkumu Fed Fed (NFF) was organized on the 30th of Ocotober 1998 at the British council in Bamenda hosted by Fed Fed Bamenda.

The major outcomes of the meeting were as follows:
  • NFF first uniform was chosen and 3 program areas for intervention were identified: Environment, Health, and Education.
  • Several projects were selected in the program areas along with the option of the concept of project committees.
