FED FED DELAWARE FOUNDATION WARMS THE HEARTS OF THE LOWLY AT THE SUNDAY BREAKFAST MISSION SHELTER IN WILMINGTON DELAWARE

On Nov 10, 2018, members of Fed Fed Delaware Foundation spent the evening serving at the Sunday Breakfast Mission in Wilmington Delaware. It was a spiritually fulfilling experience. The frigid temperatures outside paled in comparison to the warmth and fellowship shared with our American sisters who are recuperating from various setbacks in life. We served them dinner prepared by the residents. You could sense the joy in the hearts of the residents as Fed Fed ladies in their purple T-shirts showed abundant love and smiles as food was served.

Then came the desserts; cupcakes, seasonal delicacies; pumpkin pie, tasty croissants and cookies provided by Fed Fed ladies. These tasty treats brightened the faces of these residents. A small gesture indeed with great spiritual rewards!

We also joined the residents as we washed their pots and dishes in preparation for their next meal. The beams on our sisters faces mingling with Fed Fed members, as they savored and enjoyed their meals was priceless.

Fed Fed DE’s modest gift spread joy at the beginning of Christ’s joyful season in the US. We will forever cherish this visit of spiritual love. We give special thanks to our Na President of Fed Fed DE, Ma Justine Fogam for coordinating the plans and making sure it was well executed.

The Sunday Breakfast Mission organization serves the homeless, addicted, and impoverished through Christ-centered programs to meet their spiritual, social, and physical needs. Among their many philanthropic services, fully funded by generous donations, they provide temporal lodging, meals, medical needs, discipleship and back to school drives for children.
