Call to Action: Open the door. Take a stand. End violence.
During the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (25 Nov – 10 Dec), Nkumu Fed Fed joins the global movement to call for an end to all forms of violence against women and girls, especially the rising threat of digital violence.
Today, harmful acts such as online harassment, cyberstalking, image-based abuse, doxxing, and digital coercion are harming women and girls across the world. These abuses may occur online, but their effects are deeply real, damaging confidence, safety, mental health, and dignity.
Nkumu Fed Fed commits to:
-Raising awareness on digital safety, consent, and respectful online behaviour.
-Supporting survivors through safe reporting channels, counseling, and legal guidance.
-Advocating for strong policies that protect women and girls in digital spaces.
-Mobilizing communities, including men and boys, to challenge harmful norms and end violence both online and offline.
We call on all community members, leaders, and institutions to join us. Let us work together to create digital environments where women and girls can learn, connect, and thrive without fear.
This season, and every day, we must unite.
Open the door. Take a stand. End digital violence.
