SPEECH BY THE PRESIDENT GENERAL OF NKUMU FED FED

Distinguished partners,
Esteemed members of Nkumu Fed Fed,
Dear beneficiaries, friends, and well-wishers,
Ladies and gentlemen,

I address you this 2026 with a deep sense of gratitude, responsibility, and renewed commitment as the President General of Nkumu Fed Fed, a gender-based non-governmental organization driven by a shared vision of dignity, equality, and sustainable development.

Nkumu Fed Fed is more than an organization; it is a movement. A movement built on solidarity, compassion, and action. With 15 vibrant branches spread across Cameroon and the diaspora, we continue to demonstrate that distance is not a barrier when purpose unites us.

Our work is anchored on four core program areas that respond directly to the pressing needs of our communities:

First, Health

We believe that good health is a fundamental human right. Through sensitization, community outreach, and support programs, we continue to promote maternal health, reproductive health, mental well-being, and access to basic healthcare services, especially for women and vulnerable groups.

Second, Education.

Education remains a powerful tool for empowerment and transformation. Nkumu Fed Fed is committed to promoting access to quality education, supporting the girl child, reducing school dropouts, and encouraging lifelong learning as a pathway out of poverty and inequality.

Third, Human Rights and Gender.

As a gender-based organization, we stand firmly against all forms of discrimination, gender-based violence, and injustice. We advocate for the rights of women, girls, and marginalized persons, promote gender equality, and work closely with communities to foster respect, inclusion, and social justice.

Fourth, Secure Livelihood and Environmental Protection.

We recognize that sustainable development cannot be achieved without economic empowerment and environmental responsibility. Through skills development, income-generating activities, and environmental protection initiatives, we support families and communities to become resilient while safeguarding our environment for future generations.

To our members, both at home and in the diaspora:

You are the backbone of Nkumu Fed Fed. Your dedication, voluntary service, and unwavering belief in our mission continue to propel this organization forward. I encourage you to remain united, proactive, and committed as ambassadors of our values wherever you are.

To our partners and collaborators:
We are sincerely grateful for your trust, support, and partnership. Your contributions, technical, financial, and moral, have strengthened our impact and expanded our reach.

We look forward to deepening these partnerships as we scale up our programs and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

To our beneficiaries:

You are the reason we exist. Your resilience, courage, and determination inspire us to do more and do better. Nkumu Fed Fed remains committed to walking alongside you, listening to your needs, and creating opportunities that enable you to thrive.

As we look to the future, our vision is clear: to build stronger, healthier, educated, and empowered communities where gender equality is not just a goal, but a lived reality.

Let us continue to work together, with unity, transparency, and purpose, to make Nkumu Fed Fed a beacon of hope and change in Cameroon and beyond.

Thank you for your continued support.
May our collective efforts continue to uplift lives and transform communities.
God bless you all.

God bless Nkumu Fed Fed.
Thank you.
