Nkumu Fed Fed on February 29, 2024, dispatched a team to the Bamenda Regional Hospital led by Mrs. Joko Anna, the Coordinator of the Gwan Multipurpose Center to comfort victims of the Nkambe February 11, incident that left over 80 injured with one death recorded.
Receiving the team was the Director of the Hospital, Dr. Denis Nsame who appreciated the move and as well presented the condition of the five victims who were flown to the hospital via a helicopter from Nkambe. He said they are gradually recovering but need a lot of psychosocial support and rehabilitation.

The team later visits the five victims in their wards with words of encouragement and an envelope to each of the victims. Jamshey Emmanuella, fourteen years, is a girl and a form two student of Government Technical High School Nkambe (GTHS) who lost both legs, Cynthia, 21 years old and a tailor by profession lost both legs, Ngong Maline, a form four student of GTHS Nkambe lost both legs and one of her breast, 15 years old. The two boys, Api Franklin 17 years and a form two student of GTHS Nkambe and Babert Gerald, a primary five pupil of IDPS Nkambe had fractures on both legs and burns.
Mrs. Joko Anna while leaving the hospital made a promise that Nkumu Fed Fed NGO would return with more assistance. Question why they have to visit, she explained that Nkumu Fed Fed is an NGO that takes care of all with no exception even though the head office is in Bali.
